In this post we will take a look at the Moticon Sensor Insole Product line in order to dig through the different versions of the insoles that are available to customers in North America.  There are specific insoles for clinicians and therapists, as well as for research oriented users.

The "Physio" variant of the Moticon Sensor Insoles is primarily focused for use by PTs, clinical rehabilitation specialists, elite sports teams, and other practical applications.  Main use cases include tracking risk factors for injury prevention, monitoring performance, and improving the outcomes of patients' rehab process through feedback training.

Key Features (may vary depending on which software version is selected)

Key features for the Moticon Physio insoles include:

  • Up to 2 days recording
  • Direct comparison of tests
  • Auto Video Sync
  • Auto Report Generation
  • Software updates
  • Cloud storage

For users focused on research, there is only one option: Moticon Science.  The Moticon Science Insoles are very similar to the Physio Insoles, however the different Science versions include more memory, 3D Accelerometers, and the option (on one model) to download the data via USB.
