SIMI°Motion Gait 3D

SIMI°Motion Gait 3D  3D Gait Analysis

SIMI°Motion Gait 3D is a stream-lined version of SIMI°Motion. It includes all the features necessary for gait analysis.

SIMI has developed a perfect, custom-tailored tool for 3D gait analysis. SIMI°Motion Gait 3D is an affordable and space-efficient motion capture and analysis system.

SIMI°Motion Gait 3D - 3D Gait Analysis

The system collects, calculates, analyzes and displays three dimensional motion data of patients. Diagrams with 3D coordinates, linear and angular velocity and acceleration are displayed with a virtual reality model (stick figure, wire-frame, or skeleton) in order to visualize and analyze movement.

The system calculates joint centers and provides 3D still image measurements as well as templates for gait analysis and reporting.

The system has an intuitive user interface. SIMI°Motion Gait 3D is user-friendly in terms of setup and usage. The spatial calibration and marking of joints are the only preparations required.

It is flexible and mobile, as it allows several objects to be captured simultaneously in nearly any environment. There is no need for "wiring" the object. The system is non-invasive to the structure of motion.

External measurement devices, such as force plates and EMG, can be easily integrated into the system.

Features

  • Modules for 3D Kinematics analysis, 3D Inverse Kinematics analysis and foot pressure analysis
  • Live synchronized recording with up to 4 digital video cameras
  • Reflective (black/white or colored) markers on anatomical landmarks (joints, segments) are detected automatically (marker tracking system) or manually (mouse)
  • 3D still image measurement and visualization of movement using a stick figure, wire-frame or skeletal model.
  • Synchronization of the kinematical data with results from foot pressure distribution measurement systems
  • Optional: Modules for 3D Inverse Dynamics, EMG and force plate measurements

Applications

  • Gait Analysis
  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
