3D Posture Analysis

The Templo 3D posture analysis module is a more advanced version of our 2D module. This add-on to the Templo software gives the user the ability to identify and track patients' posture in three dimensions. The system generates the spatial-temporal results in anatomical illustrations that show patients what their unique posture means. The goal of this system is to provide better outcomes for patients suffering with mild to moderate postural deficiencies:

  • Shoulder axis (displacement, rotation)
  • Hip Axis (displacement, rotation)
  • Leg axes (varus, valgus, extension, flexion)
  • Information about lordosis and kyphosis

In addition, you can utilize 3 high-resolution USB cameras that are easily integrated and calibrated with one of our two calibration options, a portable calibration tree or a permanent calibration system that is integrated into the workspace.

The visualization of different postural alignments is the key feature of this module. The system enables the patient to understand what their unique postural alignment looks like, and as a result the clinicians will have better results in treatment.

Equipment and Calibration

  • 3 Cameras are used at varying perspectives to calculate posture
  • Both mobile and permanent calibration systems are available
  • High-resolution camera systems are available to remove the need for constant adjustments

Capture and Identify in One Screen

  • 3 Photos are taken of the subject from 3 different perspectives
  • Identify points on the body, as described on the menu to the right of the image
  • The process takes minutes and is repeated for each perspective

After capturing and identifying the markers on the subject, you have the ability to utilize any of the tools to measure angles, distances, and visually assess the patient's posture

Additional Trials

  • For each patient, up to 3 trials can be performed within each database entry
  • Once the system has been calibrated, you are ensured of accurate and objective comparisons
  • The software then generates a report with graphical representations of any postural deficiencies
  • Automatically generated reports with all posture measurement results included
