Hardware Requirements

Hardware considerations are an important factor in the quality of work that a motion analysis system can provide.

• Traditional 2D motion analysis systems rely on "firewire" cameras to capture their images
• While Templo is fully capable of utilizing this technology, Templo is the first 2D motion analysis system that can capture in FULL HD (1920x1080i)
• Templo is also capable of capturing multiple high-speed gigE (ethernet) cameras simultaneously

Whatever your needs, high frame-rate, high resolution, or both, we can meet and surpass them. Templo is also a great capture platform for video-based 3D systems like Peak Motus!

Do I need a different computer for HD capture vs. SD capture?

• zFlo, Inc. can provide either specs for a computer that can capture in High Defintion, or we can build you a custom computer
• There are some unique requirements in order to capture this massive data-rate (100 mb/s). We can take the challenge and frustration away
• We build computers with only those components you will need for running the system - maximum efficiency and stability are our priority
• Full 1-year warranty coverage is included with all machines we build - this includes full replacement of any part should an issue occur

Hardware requirements for Templo:

For SD capturing:

• Dual Core Processor
• 2 GB System RAM
• Dedicated Graphics/Video Card – 512 MB Video RAM
• Firewire – IEEE 1394 “in” port
• 250 GB Hard-Drive Space

For HD capturing:

• Quad-Core Processor
• 4 GB System RAM
• Dedicated Graphics/Video Card – 1 GB DDR3 RAM
• HDMI Capture Card – (we can supply + configure)
• 500 GB Hard-Drive or better – RAID 0 systems are recommended
  

All computers we build are fully tested and the software is always pre-loaded. We build systems to meet your requirements, whether HD, SD, or High-Speed. We will provide a computer that can handle whatever you demand of it!
